Cynthia Becker, Preschool
Director/Teacher
Little Angels operates
on a non-discriminatory basis, admitting all children of preschool age without
regard to race, religion or national origin. Little Angels Preschool is a
Christian outreach of Calvary Lutheran Church. The preschool is open to children
who are healthy, from ages 2.5 to 5, and whose parent/guardians desire a
Christian educational experience for their child. Children with special needs
may be admitted if we are able to provide for their needs with reasonable
accommodations and without unreasonable disproportionate amounts of time taken
away for attending to other children's needs. Our director is happy to discuss
any special need or concerns with you.
PHILOSOPHY AND
GOALS
The purpose of Little Angels Preschool and Daycare is to provide a loving faith based environment where children can grow, learn and play. We respect children as individuals, unique and precious to God. We encourage them to explore, discover and progress at their own rate.
Children's education and care is a joint venture between home, school and church. The home has the primary responsibility for a young child's development. Little Angels provides a unique environment to extend education beyond the home.
Little Angels offers children opportunities to have meaningful interaction with peers and adults in a rich learning environment where active growing learners can express themselves and explore their world. At each developmental stage, new capabilities emerge. Our developmentally appropriate learning environment and curriculum encourages, supports, exercises and challenges children's developing potentials.
We will provide your child with:
· A
sense of security derived from being loved, cared for, praised, accepted and
encouraged
· A faith based
atmosphere for spiritual growth
· A variety of opportunities for learning
·
Developmentally appropriate activities to promote optimal growth
· Freedom to exercise their
abilities and potential
· Time
and support to develop at their own rate
· A challenging, non-threatening climate conducive to exploration and
discovery
· Tools and
resources appropriate for their changing developmental stages
· Caring adults to inspire
guide and nurture
