Friday, February 25, 2011 ~ 7:30pm AFIARA STRING QUARTET †     Winners of the 2008 Concert Artists Guild International Competition. †     Winners 2010 "Young Canadian Musicians" award. †     Winners of the prestigious Munich ARD International Music Competition. †      Graduate String Quartet in residence at the Julliard School. We welcome them to Eureka! ~>}{<~   Friday, March 18, 2011 ~ 7:30pm DAEDALUS QUARTET †     Winner Grand Prize and swept all the special prizes at the 2001 Banff International String Quartet Competition. †     Selected by Carnegie Hall to participate in the ECHO (European Concert Hall Organization) Rising Stars Program 2004-2005, appearing in the major European Concert Halls. †     Named by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center to be the CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY TWO QUARTET for 2005-2007 seasons. †     They are the Quartet-in-Residence at Columbia University and Visiting Artists at the University of Pennsylvania.
